When Disasters Strikes

For all of us in the danger zone it is important to be prepared. In a major disaster, it might be several days (at the most 72 hours) before vital services are restored. In these situations you need to know what to do and where to go. This is easily accomplished by following three simple steps. 1) Make a plan, without a plan you are as good as dead and there is absolutely no hope for your pathetic soul. 2) Build a kit, building is fun, and during a disater you need something to do I recommend some card, legos and perhaps one of those hand powered flahlights. Last of all, 3) Get Involved, the best way to prevent a disater is to get involved, become active in your local Community Disater Chapter, or if you don't have one, form one. All of these steps are outlined at the following website www.72hours.org . Just select the approriate disaster and enjoy planning for the future.

P.S. I hope my first blog lives up to the high expectations of All In Perspective
