It was the profound thought of my straight thinking friend the other day, but so far nobody has been able to answer. What is the deal with the speakers in quarterback’s helmets? Are they always on? Does the quarterback have to press a button to answer? Can the coach really yell “check down,” “look deep,” or “weakside blitz” during a play? Please let me know if you have an answer for this before I start Googleing.
